Cali Christmas

so i had to pick up my friend. i left at 5.traffic was ridiculous.i got to his house at 6.sidebar: he lives in la mirada total opposite direction of universal studios.we leave and theres still mad ass traffic. we get there at 7 45. we pay for premiere parking or whatever cuz its a 10 minute walk to the gibson with regular parking. the show started at 7 15. its a madass walk to get there and theres still a lot of people that are just getting there. there were a lot of nice girls :], with boyfriends :[. anyways we get in there and LMFAO and slim were already done. and busta rhymes was doing his set. everybody was wilding to pretty much all of his songs. i saw busta for the first time when i was 14 and hes still as raw as ever. the white girls in the seats next to me were freaking ridiculously. it was pretty hot. so i was expecting to see t.i come out after busta had everyone doing the arab money dance. but 10 minutes later after seeing the biggie trailer like 50 times big boi and the neighborhood come out. and inrtoduce the man with the number one album in the country. the only reason i could think of them having t.i close the show, is cuz hes on his way to the pin. but either way kanyes set was AMAZING. behind him was 3 monitors, two of which you could spot his band, you know the guys that look like power ranger rejects. opened the show with touch the sky, which i find ironic cuz its the song he closed glow in the dark with. then he took it to through the wire, then took it to champion, get em high, cant tell me nothing, put on, then he started his freestyle and then said "wait a minute stop the track this is a radio show we dont have no time go to the next song" DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER!, so after that he left for a good 5 minutes. and this is what really tripped me out, cuz the first time i saw kanye was when he barely released jesus walks. and this was powerhouse 2004, and he did his hits through the wire, get em high and then he left for like 5 minutes and made it seem like he was done with his set. then unexpectedly came out and did jesus walks, slow jamz with twista and closed it with overnight celebrity. and it was a trip cuz he did the same thing at cali christmas. he left for like 5 minutes and came back out to do jesus walks. followed by flashing lights,homecoming,ALL FALLS DOWN!, then he said we dont play around and American Boy dropped! followed up by gold digger, then probably my favorite live song, Good Life!, he didnt go as long as he did at glow in the dark but it was still killer, and i was surprised when the next song he did was Amazing, i was hoping the third single would be robocop but oh well. but no cheeseyness, Amazing was AMAZING. his band put this killer guitar solo in the chorus and it turned into a heavy metal rock hip hop song. it was deeep. then from there he went on to talk about how amazing wasnt a cocky song and yea. then probably the biggest hit off of 808s he did Heartless! and everybody in the crowd was singing it. it was seriously something else. he bridged it into pinnochio story which is the bonus track off the album, then he took it back into heartless. after that he did love lockdown, and had his band do some mean drum solos on the taiko drums. it was deep. once that was done he ended his performance with stronger. self explanatory. probably one of the best performances i will ever see in my life. oh yea and diddy came out to introduce t.i., ron browz came out during busta rhymes performance to *pop champagne* for president obama. and t.i.'s performance, eh not really worth talking about after i layed down all that kanye material. aha but cali christmas was killer!
